Suspended Acoustic Ceilings Are Our Specialty
Most of our hours go into acoustic ceiling installation — suspended grid with lay-in tile, the drop ceiling you see in nearly every office, clinic and retail store. It's popular for practical reasons. It hides ductwork, sprinkler lines and cabling while keeping them reachable. It takes the edge off the noise in open offices and waiting rooms. And when a tile gets stained or damaged, you swap one panel instead of patching a whole ceiling.
A good grid job is mostly about layout and leveling. We lay out the main runners and cross tees so the border tiles at the walls are balanced and not cut into thin slivers. We hang the grid from the structure above with wire set to a consistent height, then coordinate with the electrical and mechanical trades so light fixtures, diffusers and access panels land where they belong. The result is a ceiling that looks straight from any corner of the room.

Framing and Drywall That Get the Room Ready
A ceiling is only as good as the walls and soffits around it. We build interior partitions and bulkheads with metal stud framing, which stays straight and doesn't rot or warp in Gulf Coast humidity the way wood can. Steel studs are the standard for commercial interiors, and building the framing ourselves means the soffit heights and ceiling elevations are planned together from the start.
Once the framing is up, our drywall installation and repair crew hangs and finishes the board — new partitions, drywall soffits that step down around the grid, and patch work where old walls were opened up for plumbing or electrical changes.
Clearing Out the Old Ceiling First
Many Palmetto spaces we walk into already have a ceiling: sagging tile, bent grid, or a layout that no longer matches the new floor plan. Our interior demolition service takes out old ceilings, non-structural partitions and soffits so the space is clean and ready for new work. Because the same company does the demo and the rebuild, there's no gap between trades and no finger-pointing about what was left behind.

Distribuimos los perfiles principales y las tes transversales para que las placas de borde junto a las paredes queden balanceadas y no en tiras delgadas. Colgamos la perfilería de la estructura con alambre a una altura uniforme y coordinamos con electricistas y técnicos de aire acondicionado para que lámparas, difusores y registros queden donde deben. El resultado es un techo que se ve recto desde cualquier esquina.

Framing y drywall para dejar el espacio listo
Un techo es tan bueno como las paredes y los plafones que lo rodean. Construimos divisiones interiores y bulkheads con framing metálico, que se mantiene recto y no se pudre ni se tuerce con la humedad de la costa del Golfo como puede pasar con la madera. La estructura de acero es el estándar en interiores comerciales, y al hacerla nosotros mismos planificamos juntas las alturas de los plafones y del techo desde el principio.
Con la estructura lista, nuestro equipo de instalación y reparación de drywall coloca y termina las láminas: divisiones nuevas, plafones de drywall que bajan alrededor de la perfilería y reparaciones donde se abrieron paredes para cambios de plomería o electricidad.
Primero, retirar el techo viejo
Muchos locales en Palmetto ya tienen un techo: placas caídas, perfilería doblada o una distribución que ya no corresponde al nuevo plano.
